There's an extrude button on the vertice looking tab page. :I

Is there even a difference between extruding and Moving?

they seem to do the same thing, at least they do on Milkshape

You don't extrude the vertex, you extrude the face.

Select A face or two. (Or More if you need)

Set the parameters as so: then hit Extrude.

This will happen. ^^

What I think you are doing.

I need to know how to do it in Blender not milkshape.. Or is it the same way

Clicking the middle mouse button (NOT scrolling) is the way to make it go away (or appear). Make sure that you are clicking in the 3d window, or it won't work.

Sorry, talking to Obibital, not you.

Is milkshape easier to use then blender?

No.

No it is not.

Blender is, in some cases, more difficult to learn. But once you have learned it, it is a wild ride in your incredible modelling imagination.

See, I don't like the way if I try to select something in edit mode it ends up moving it. And quads to tris, and vice versa is broken...

You have to press "B'... if you just drag it it will select and move it..

You prolly already know this though
