Author Topic: Macs In High School  (Read 3265 times)

WARNING: THIS IS NOT A HATE THREAD! No Mac vs. PC Flame Wars!

Well today was my first day of high school and I noticed something...

Macs, macs everywhere...

I wouldn't mind it so much if they were later models but they're kinda old I'm guessing since there's no right click. The keyboards are also weird as hell. It's like 1/4 inch thin and the keys barely press down it's almost like touch screen. Really hard to type on them. Who loving designed that? Anyways at least it's not too bad since some of the macs have Dual Boot so I can use windows. Then again emulators for macs usually suck. Actually emulators in general usually suck.

We just got all new PCs in the engineering room.
With Windows 7 on.

FFFFF-

Sounds like the kind of Imac my mom has.

Chances are they've been using them for 8 years.

It's a new school. Only about a year old. I can't see the possibility in that unless Apple donated computers like usual. Dam Apple. Donating computers to schools to market their product. >:U

Unlikely.

Find an image on google images of the exact model of computer they have.

I'm transferring schools and going into seventh in a private school.

They have Windows, but I don't know which version (Tis' is old)

Wait what.

Dual booting?

Has to be fairly new.

If they can't right click then set it to be able to in system prefs bro.

With Windows 7 on.

See, my school is still stuck on XP, and they're like, "But we just upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007! That's enough for five years, don't you think?!"

uh, no.

Unlikely.

Couldn't find the computer but I found something like the keyboard. The keyboard is like this except slightly thinner and without a numpad.

uh, no.
My old elementary school had Word 2003.

Heh, I remember back in elementary school they used the old Mackintoshes.
The only good thing about them was Garage Band, that was actually a fun program.
Granted that was back in, oh, 1999-2004ish, and sense then I've seen nothing but Windows in schools.

Like this?

I'm guessing since there's no right click.

There always, always has been.

Control + Left Click

Or just find a decent mouse.
