Sorry, I just had to.
That made my day.

See, my school is still stuck on XP, and they're like, "But we just upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007! That's enough for five years, don't you think?!"

uh, no.
Wow I didn't realize how awesome my school is. (Office 2010 btw)

Probably a 2007 or a 2008 model in that case. Not that old.

They can right click. Go look in the system prefs.

It's not awesome until they use openoffice and firefox by default.

My school uses PCs from like 2001. :(

My middle school is getting all Windows 7 desktops and windows vista laptops, with some decent computers. Too bad I'm moving into the high school, where most computers are cheap macs.

Unless you desperately need to run incompatible software at school, I wouldn't worry. This hideous bias that Macs are crap comes from people who don't use them properly.

Oxymoron.

I've been using PCs all my life, through all my school years, and all at home, I know how to use Microsoft Power point, word, excel, and windows movie maker. And now I need to learn how to use all the Mac software. I has a sad about that.

plus, in my middle school, if somebody's computer broke, I could usually fix it. Now I won't have any experience in the computer field with these new white things.

If you learned Movie Maker, iMovie isn't going to be very hard to grasp. Microsoft office is compatible on Mac too, but the iWork suite is not very hard to get your head around either. Apple makes everything so its easy for beginners, but can do some real deep professional work too.

Couldn't find the computer but I found something like the keyboard. The keyboard is like this except slightly thinner and without a numpad.
-snip-

Then you are talking about one of the newest models for the mac keyboard
