Author Topic: RTB crashes my router  (Read 597 times)

I haven't found out why yet but, if I use RTB with my wireless internet connected, my router stops my connection to the internet, for the whole house. I have to restart my router for it to go again. It works fine on my friends computer, he has a Mac too. I use a MacBook. Don't say "Thars your problem", Macs aren't as stupid as you think, hell why would Badspot make it work with Macs if they were so goddamned stupid. Back to my point, my router stays on, says I'm connected to the router but my internet goes down for the whole house. I don't know if it's something to do with the router itself, the settings or something completely random but something is definitely happening to it. I think I may have found out what part of RTB is doing this, but I can't be sure. I was directed to an IRC website with access to the/that hosts the RTB IRC server, and I went into #rtb and BOOM, there goes my internet connectivity.

If anyone has an insight into my problem, I would be very happy.

Help? This got to the second page without a reply?

Don't use IRC and disable the automatically connect option in RTB Options.

It worked, but it won't go out of Authenticating key or whatever...

I keeps saying "Authentication: Validating key..." instead of "Welcome, Maximum"

It means it's checking your key.

But it won't stop authenticating.

What kind of router do you use?
