In case you didn't notice, he wasn't sending all non-aryans to death camps. The flaw in his plan was going to war with everything around him.

No seriously though, he flunked out of art school or something, joined the army, got pissed that germany surrendered in WWI and decided to get support by saying he'd make Germany better... by killing people 'unworthy' of being german.

I think anyone with that high of a latitude and without the advantage of western Europe's North Atlantic Current is going to be pretty damn cold year round.
