Author Topic: My computer is going insane, help  (Read 6548 times)

My computer shut off awhile ago (this has been getting more frequent, along with random double clicking and unwanted mouse button releasing :S ) and now my keyboard won't work. Keyboard is first priority so I can communicate quicker. Using on-screen keyboard, slow and annoying. Dell Studio 1537 laptop. Dell provides no 1537 keyboard drivers. Scanning for viruses now. Help?

Edit: Keyboard replaced, working fine. Now my mouse is being dumb but I probably just need a new one.

With the on-screen keyboard, you could just try typing in the letters so that it will select the on-screen keyboards letters, and that will be quicker.

Virus. There is a virus that does that, and, in my case, it can also turn on your computer randomly in the middle of the night to waste your money.

Definitely a virus.

Reboot into safe mode w/ networking, download/install Malwarebytes and scan.
