Author Topic: Is there a tutorial about how to port-forward with a sky router somewhere?  (Read 1085 times)

Hello. Today I would like to ask if somewhere there is tutorial about how to port-forward with a sky router. The thing is, is that I can get up to the step where you find your DNS number but then I don't know where to go afterwards. All the options are different and I get confused.

Can someone link me on how to port-forward with a sky router for blockland but if there isn't one can someone make one? I would prefer it to have pictures and be easy to read and understand. I did google it but I could only find some confusing ones that don't have pictures or tell you what to do for it to work on blockland.

I suppose this is sort of a request and sort of a question I need help with. If it should be in S&R please can a moderator move it.

Thanks.

Might be able to help you but first answer this- Does this router have anything to do with mac?

It did. I have a mac but recently I got a new laptop. I hadn't port-forwarded on the mac either. So no. Nothing to do with mac.

www.portforward.com
Tried that. I can't find my model. I looked everywhere on my router. I guess I have to do it manually.

Could you show us what your options are where you get stuck?

Also, give me your router's name and model number. Two Googleing people are better than 1.

I have no idea where they are. It's a netgear. That's all I know.

The options at the top are
SETUP SECURITY MAINTENANCE ADVANCED

ADVANCED

Under that is usually the right stuff. Find virtual server or anything to do with WAN and search that. For example, my router is advanced -> virtual server -> user. If you have something like this, you're there.
