Author Topic: HTC HD2 Android Update  (Read 3294 times)

I have unlocked the phone, flashed new network radios, and flashed an almost non-existent windows ROM. The latest Android build has everything working. I've been running Android 2.2 (Froyo) from my microsd card for three days straight now. I have better data connection and call quality than I did in native Windows Mobile. The only thing that's struggling is the battery optimization, but that's due to the microsd usage. It can also be improved via over/underclocking software (screen off = 200mhz cap). Also worth noting is that I get significantly better performance than other stock android phones according to benchmark tests.

This is amazing.

GBA Emulator with onscreen transparent buttons.

dammit I got an iPod touch.
Might sell it for a Froyo phone.

Got this months ago. Because my nexus one is special.
But yes, froyo is the loveiest thing ever?

I've "had" it for months, but I just now flashed my phone (So I can use it full time).

i got froyo on my incredible the other day, enabled 720p video recording and cameras flash flashlight, among other things

Join the froyo club!

But to be honest, I'm getting tired of android, I've had an android (including the first one ever built)
all my life, besides my iphone.

Does anyone think I should sell my itouch for a droid incredible?

hell yes

droid is alright but its nothing in comparison to iPhone 4

I know that's gonna cause something, but I can't help to agree with all the added features.

But they're both good phones.
