Yes, this has been around before i've been born, but the technology is improving, and it's also awesome and relaxing.
For the people who are new to this [You've probably lived under a rock], it's basically another form of recording audio that can let you hear where the sound is coming from, not Mono or Stereo, or Surround, another step further from those, and all you need is a headphones.

This haircut video isn't as famous, but it's focused solely on the cutting, not talking most of the time.

Anyway, there's ALOT more holophonic videos out there, a few of them don't work well, but the rest work properly.

Anyway, listen and enjoy, and if you feel like it, post more holophonic audio.

I'm trying to find freeware that would let me emulate holophonic audio, since i was working on a project "The Soldier's Virtual haircut, starring the Soldier from  TF2"

That first one was sketching me out while I was listening to it.

I quit as soon as I saw "Made by a Mac".

I quit as soon as I saw "Made by a Mac".

I hate Macs as much as the next guy, but seriously? Grow the forget up.

I quit as soon as I saw "Made by a Mac".
Terrible reason.

I personally quit as soon as quicktime plugin showed up. But then I watched the first youtube video.

Holy stuff. I actually got a tingly feeling when the haircutting started.

That was very creepy though, "Let me put this bag over your head..."

I love these things. I've had the Virtual Barber Shop on my PSP for ages and I listen to it every now and again. :D

Holy stuff, I thought the very beginning of the barber shop one was something knocking on these wooden blinds that are next to me.

This sounds terrifying.

This sounds terrifying.
Relaxing for me.
But there is holophonic horror.

At first I thought that this was that stuffty techno music that's supposed to make you high again.

Relaxing for me.
But there is holophonic horror.
You mean there's holophonic horror as in like from a horror movie? Want.

Add a link to the vagineer vid.
Heh.

I heard one about pirates raiding a ship at a museum. You sat in this room of a ship, listened to it. Lights went off, and heard blackbeard threatning to kill you or something.

Not as scary as it was cool.
