Author Topic: Converting Mac files to PC  (Read 1116 times)

I recently made an add-on on my Mac and gave it to a friend on a PC and he said it wouldn't work. It works perfectly fine on my Mac. I'm not sure what's wrong though.

Send it to me. I can fix it. Mac Add-Ons are set up a certain way that is different than Windows.

I kinda wanted to know how so I can do it myself.

You have all these Mac OSX Files in it. Windows can't open those up.

I know. How do I make it where they are windows and mac files? Or maybe just Windows?

Windows Version doesn't need those Mac Files. No need to use them. Mac just has them to help it work.

Well then how do I get rid of mac files? All I see are things like the server.cs and the dts models and the colors n such.

What I sent you is the version that will work for windows.
What I did was replaces the Zip and put the right bunch of files in there. All those Folders and Mac files are unneeded.

They don't show up on my mac but Im guessing thats because its a mac :/

You use blender?
Also if you do I can help because it works for me

Send it to me, I have had Macintosh .zip files in the past.
Its just a misplacement in the folders.

It has nothing to do with the add-on itself, only the way it is packaged.
