Not connecting to #rtb (and disconnecting randomly)

Oh, right! So, to the help topic.

Whenever I start up BL,
I open up IRC:
"Connecting...
Connected."

After that, it doesn't say "Joined #rtb". The log is just blank after it "connects".

So then I say "/join #rtb", but it seems like the enter key is defective in IRC... (The "send" button doesn't send it either. It just goes bloop.)

I've tried restarting BL about five times. I haven't installed any addons, either (or programs for that matter).

Can anyone help?

Also, since the edit button went poof,

After about 45 seconds my IRC disconnects without any kind of interaction from me.

When your internet screws up or lags, you can be disconnected from IRC.

The IRC network we use is notoriously unreliable. I think we only continue to use it in memory of Mocheeze.

When we switch to RTB Connect the IRC network will lose about 75% of it's traffic.
