I didnt know they had a programming language called "C&C" therefore, as it not one of the more well known programming languages, I am left to assume that it is a stuff programming language, unless you meant the regular C and then C++ You would improve in the art of making addons if you would open the addons up and read through the scripts within them, not learning an entirely different language.

That's not true, alot of people do rush but that doesn't mean it's the only tactic. I win alot by good defense and lots of forward bases as NOD, stealth attacks on power/tiberium cripples the enemy.

C & C?
Never heard of it before.

However, it can help you understand the basic set up of pieces of code.
So yeah, it could help you make add-ons.

If the language is objected oriented, it will help with the concepts of C++/TorqueScript a lot, even if it has a different syntax.

There is no such thing as a coding language called C&C. Your teacher is teaching you how to play Command and Conquer. This will not help you make add-ons.
