There's a good chance your GPU will be compatible, but I doubt your CPU will. It all depends.

So this is possible? How do I do it?

You would have to move the CPU and GPU from computer to computer, you could not hook up your crappy one to your awesome one to use the CPU and GPU. But post the specs on crappy motherboard, and post the socket of CPU and Motherboard.

You need to find out 4 things:

A. Your old motherboard's expansion slot type
B. Your old motherboard's CPU socket type
C. Your good GPU's interface type
D. Your good CPU's socket type

A must be the same as C, and B must be the same as D.

Oh. I didn't explain very well I guess. I meant I would want to be at my mom's house(low end computer) and be able to somehow use the CPU and GPU of my good computer without tearing it apart. Could I like steal the CPU and GPU from my computer over the internet?

I'm pretty sure theres some virus that does this to peoples computers and gives it to the viruses maker, so I think it should be possible, but I may be wrong.

You could not be farther from being correct.

This is in no way possible.

My god.

lol no.

You'd have to physically take them out.

Uh, no.

The only "way" this happens is OnLive where games are streamed to you but you have to pretty much buy them again and you need really good internet + bandwidth.

You'd actually have to pick up your computer and take it or tear it apart.

Well that sucks. I thought there was a virus that did that though...

A virus is a bad thing.

You don't want that.

Hurr. I figured I could use that to steal the cpu and gpu from my good computer.

That's really dumb.

That's really dumb.
How is that dumb? I want to use the power of my computer on both of my computers instead of 1.
