Author Topic: Fourmile Canyon Fire  (Read 917 times)

You may or may not have heard about this massive fire in Fourmile Canyon, Colorado on the news. I live near Boulder, so I'm extremely close to it. Luckily, they've began to contain it, but even so, throughout today when I've been in town, the thick smell of smoke was everywhere. Last I heard, 92 buildings have been destroyed, 68 of which were houses, and the fire had spread to 7000 acres yesterday, but as of today, it's down to a little over 6000 acres.

Feel free to talk about fires or other natural disasters you've experienced, or at least been close to.

Stop beating me to it.

Wonder how it started.

Maybe like the fire that started in my uncle's woods a few years back.

I think some idiot that lives up there backed into a propane tank, or at least that's what I heard. I could be wrong.
