ROAD TRIP 2011
So, Comr4de and I have been thinking about doing a road trip next summer. This idea was brought about by this post of Comr4de's in my clan topic during the summer:

So I thought, "Hey, why not."
This has been in-the-making for quite a while now, and of course, it's a little early to be making any definite decisions, but our proposed route of travel would be starting in Boulder, CO (where I live) and ending up in Michigan.
"Why Michigan?" you ask?Well, because neither of us have ever been to Michigan.
The next part of this, and the main reason I'm posting this topic, is because we want to know if you'd like us to visit you along our travels. As far as the plan goes right now, we'd be trippin' through the middle of the country. We're hoping to make stops in Michigan (obviously), Chicago, and any others that you guys suggest.
We'd also like it if you all could suggest awesome places that you've been to that we could visit, such as famous museums or national monuments, or even just really cool restaurants, for example. If your suggestion is somewhat along our proposed route, we might just check it out.
Keep in mind that we're still kids and we have parents that must have the final say on anything here. For instance, my parents are only just a
little paranoid (sarcasm) and haven't even given the okay on this. Commy and I are thinking that my parents would be the drivers since neither of us can legally drive each other around yet, however they're the typical "we don't feel comfortable meeting someone we've never even talked to before" parents.
Which brings me to the "parents" section.

SUGGEST PLACES FOR US TO VISIT!If you'd like for us to visit you along the way, simply give a general idea of where you live, and if we think we can do it, we'll ask you to PM us with your exact address (this information
will be kept confidential, guaranteed), and we'll set up a time for us to visit you. Also, be sure it's okay with your parents; we don't want to show up at anyone's door and have your parents call the cops on us because you never asked them if it was okay if we paid you a visit. If you'd rather not have us visit you at your house, no problem, just give us an alternative place, like a park near your house or a restaurant where we can grab some lunch or something.
We can visit a total of
10 people (this number is subject to change), so start suggesting!
Note: These numbers are not in chronological order; in other words, just because you're first on the list doesn't mean you're first to be paid a visit.

Due to people suggesting places that are WAY off of our route, I'd like to clarify the states that have any chance of being on our route. Also, to the people who keep suggesting places that are not on the following list, I regret to tell you that we absolutely cannot visit any other place besides the ones on this list. One more thing; even if your state is on this list, we still may not be able to visit you, or even visit the state at all:Colorado

Again, those are states that
have any chance at all of being on our route. Any states that are not on that list are, unfortunately, not going to be an option. We apologize for this now.
Also, if you'd like, you can suggest a nickname for our "convoy."
Please take note that NOTHING in this topic is AT ALL a final decision. Everything here is subject to change. This entire trip may not even happen, due to my parents being completely overprotective richards, HOWEVER, there is a good chance that it will happen.
