Author Topic: Freeze When Clicking Outside Window  (Read 1067 times)

When I click outside of the Blockland window, and back into the game it freezes for 1-3 mins.

It's obviously annoying as hell when trying to do anything BESIDES Blockland while playing Blockland.

Are you in Fullscreen? (For you people who would flame me for saying this, 'clicking outside' for fullscreen is alt-tab. Just so you know that it's possible.)
If so, it takes a while for Blockland to re-render. Just wait, there's nothing to be done (besides switching to windowed - i did this eventually)

Otherwise, there's 5 possibilities.

1. Your computer is sh--ty and doesn't have enough RAM/other stuff. Go buy a new computer, like, NOW.
2. Background processes and other programs are cluttering up your computer's memory and stuff. Close some things, end some un-needed processes.
3. Blockland may have a problem with an add-on or a serious programming error caused by outdating/glitches. Go reinstall it, see if that helps. Then try disabling your Client add-ons and keep adding one at a time until you get the glitch.
4. Another program and Blockland are conflicting - try closing some major programs that may be doing this.
5. Your OS just might not be compatible with Blockland. If so, try another OS(Example, windows XP Pro works good for me) or just go play another game.

You're more insulting than helpful, and all your solutions are obvious ones.

Thanks but no thanks, I have a good computer, I have the knowledge of my programs to know what conflicts and what does not conflict with a basic game such as Blockland.

I know the add-ons I installed work for others, and I've already re-installed the game in a complete wipe.

I'm using Windows XP as well and running Blockland by itself to test the clutter theory which was an obvious guess before I asked the question even.

If anyone has some technical help rather than guesses I'd be more than glad to listen.

Your computer cannot multi-task.

Giving the solution I found out and told you isn't helping.

Well, now someone should be able to help him.

I do windowed, but it covers most a' my screen.

If it's a problem, lower the resolution in Options.

The same happens with me.
It usually occurs due to either console spam, script relays, or some dm or something is happening.
