My phone keeps experiencing "Battery Charging Errors"

I'm trying to charge my phone, but after two minutes or so on the charger, the charging light turns from red to orange, the phone stops charging, and the phone says "Battery Charging Error". Help me D:
If it helps, I have a Samsung Rant.
