9/11 has to be one of the saddest days in American history. many lives were lost, and this topic is to tell your stories of close calls or death.

My teacher once told me that there was an underground train running under the twin towers. One the day of the attack, everyone on that train was killed. my teacher had a grandaughter on that train. she was devastated. she tried to call but all of the phone lines were busy. An hour later an announcement came to her room. her granddaughter had MISSED the train and was still alive. she had called one of her sisters and told her to tell my teacher. Who knew that missing your train could be such GOOD LUCK?

that's what i call lucky.

This is a copy-paste of a post I made on reddit:

I was in second grade, and my class was just sitting down in our school bus to go to the gym building a few blocks away. I looked out the back window and saw the first plane hit. My school was on 6th avenue, so I could see straight down to the WTC. I remember my teacher saying to the class that there had been a little accident and a plane flew into the world trade center. We were so little we didn't really think about the death involved with that. Well, most of us. One of my classmates started crying when she saw it. Turns out her dad worked there, and died that day. The school dedicated a new gymnasium to him.

I don't remember too much about 9/11. I was pretty young when it happened (first grade) so I have vague recollections of it, but I'm pretty sure no announcement was made at my school and I remember watching my parents watch the news and what I was seeing was confusing and scary so I cried.

lol i was too young to think straight when it happened

Obama caused 9/11
Oh of course, here comes the "Obama is a terrorist..."
