Author Topic: My dad might buy me a MacBook Pro  (Read 1226 times)

Apparently, my dad's friend is selling one. Recently, I've been looking for a new laptop and I'm willing to settle on a Mac.

The basic specs are:
Processor: Intel-based, model unknown.
RAM: 4GB
HD: 250GB
Screen size: 17"
Laptop width: 18-19"

I have a 2008 MacBook Pro.

It works wonderfully and fast. I'd suggest a RAM update and Graphic's Card.

My sister's macbook pro runs very well, although when emulating gc or ps2 games on it, it gets VERY hot. The engineers behind it probably know what they're doing, but I find it weird that there isn't a clear fan somewhere (although there might be one where the monitor connects to the base.
