Author Topic: My dad might buy me a MacBook Pro  (Read 1221 times)

You must learn Applescript.

I just had this "WTF that would be awesome if it worked" idea while I was typing. What if every mac user on the forums collaborated and made one game using applescript, with everybody contributing a little?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Macs. They have their pros and cons and so do PCs. They're both computers and it's all that matters.

Hell, if I had the money, I'd buy the PC, but my dad likes the Mac and he'll allow me to use it if it works out for gaming. If not, hell, I'll still use it. There's nothing really wrong with them.

My view on Mac vs. PC:

For gaming, don't use a Mac or MacOS, both are bad for gaming.

If you're not a very hardcore gamer, like myself, I'd say to get a PC and then load MacOS on it. Macs themselves don't have very good hardware for their price, but I do like MacOS quite alot.

I do like how compact macs are; my macbook is very portable and I love that.

but a free mac is the best kind of mac, since price is their biggest downfall. go for it.

The thing is I have absolutely no money for a PC. Apparently, my dad's friend was playing a game on max on the Mac that he might get me. I forget what game it is, but I know it's a quite a graphical demanding one.
