Author Topic: Screenshots in wrong Location?  (Read 636 times)

OK this is the strangest thing. OK so, I had to re-install blockland alright. The old Location of Blockland was in "Documents", but, the new Blockland I installed is in "Program Files (x86)"

So the Blockland File thats in Program Files (x86) ends up in this location:

Computer >> Users >> [name of computer] >> AppData >> Local >> VirtualStore >> Program Files (x86) >> Blockland >> screenshots

How do it to just:
Computer >> Program Files (x86) >> Blockland >> Screenshots

It will just help me if It was in an easier location...

Fixed. Sorry.

put it in Computer, and it shouldn't have the problem, it's that or you have to disable something

It is already in computer, but its farther in computer. 5 files more farther than the original blockland... I'll try moving...

Windows 7 and Vista:
Turn off user account control.
It wont let anything go into program files.
And so it sticks it in VirtualStore

Solution: You need to install Blockland in C;/Blockland and not in Program Files

i ment in computer, but not farther, or i would have specified where

You don't have more partition? You remind me of a idiot friend who installed everything on the default directories. When I opened up internet explorer 7 search bars came up from ASK, Yahoo! and others...
But instead of reinstalling Blockland again, you can just make a shortcut to the BL Directory.

Are you telling him to make a shortcut to his screenshot folder in AppData >> Local >> ...?
That wouldnt really fix his problem.

I am telling him to make a screenshot to the entire blockland folder so he does not need to reinstall again, it does not matter where the file is as long as you still have a easy way to access it, just make a shortcut where you want to install it in the new location and use that instead of appdata, it will work the same as if it was there. Except it isn't.

OK... I guess I'll just have to take out all my add-ons, and all my saves, and put it into a new blockland folder. Which will be in Documents... If it still glitches I'll reply again.
