i hate comcast

we had a phone that was apparently on the same line as our internet and so every time the phone rang internet would be knocked out

and in the evening when parents are home they both work and so they combined get tons of loving phone calls

and we had like no internet and i was sad

but now we got new phones and i am happy :)
so you have dialup?

so you have dialup?
er no

we have comcast, i don't think its dialup.. my dad said for blockland connection to enter "cable". no idea.

I can't find any good information based off a google search, but it seems like this might be an older router. If you have a wireless network on it, make sure it is secure, but besides that, I'm not sure what else to say, maybe look into issues on online forums with your specific router model and/or Comcast Connection in your area.

Have you tried rebooting your router?

No wireless.

Several times, actually.

No wireless.
So are you on wireless to your router or not? If so that'd be the reason you get packet loss.

I get this too, usually pretty often during late hours (and as such, I had adjusted my summer sleep schedule perfectly around it, lol). I know it's not my wireless router because it happened both before and after we upgraded it last month, and it even happened when I connected my laptop directly without the router. No one understands why I'm complaining of lag during games when this happens either since my ping is normal more often than not.

The joys of Comcast.

No, I don't have wireless. And I can't really connect the computer and bypass the router because the router is located a floor down.

Its probably your hosting service by the sounds of it. Has this always happened or just recently? Also the best thing to do with support is threaten to leave there providing services unless they help fix this issue, they'll usually redirect you to someone competent.

It's been on and off for a few months now, and always seems to drop packets at

Must be a bad service connection to whatever that is in Dallas. Yell at your damn hosting provider.

Specking of my problem, i had it a few minutes ago. :C

They must either be really lazy or really busy to put Sue's host all the way in Dallas...

No, that was just that month.
All the packet loss is coming from
