Author Topic: loving reselling old games  (Read 658 times)

Quick rant,

Went to EB Games with my 14 year old cousin, he brought 4 games to sell. On their site they said they are 10$ each resale value.

We get there, 2 of the games are only 5. The other 2 have 1 small scratch each and are -5 $

WHAT THE forget

loving hate reselling games to EB games and stuff, i remember trying to resell stuff too and you always get forgeted over in the end.

Discuss reselling games and being lowballed by the place.

I sold my Wii at Gamestop today. It worked perfectly. All it had were some scratches on the side.

40 forgetin' bucks.

You must be new to reselling games to gameselling stores.

Welcome to the stuffty society of returning games.

Once it is bought the price drops 90%.

Sorry to break your heart.

you might just be better off putting an offer up on ebay.

This.

People don't realize the place that you're selling the games to HAVE to make money in order to stay in business.

Once a game is bought for $60 let's say, depending on how new the game is they're going to sell it at about half value so $30. And since they're marketing it at $30 they're going to have to get it off you in order to make a meager sum of money. You'd be lucky to get $10 out of a brand new game that you just beat.

If you returned Modern Warfare 2 within 4 months of its release, they actually gave you 25 dollars for it.
