Author Topic: Vehicle Help  (Read 1941 times)

Hey everyone, I'm Creating this topic for help with a vehicle I'm making here are some pictures of the model,
Since I'm quite new to modelling you can see why some areas of the model look crap, anywho I need help with how to make certain joints for the Vehicle, I'm Just going to use Invisible Wheels to make it move.

Also: I Have Milkshape 3D Full Verson to make the joints and export it.

Help Would be much appreciated :D

That is Google SketchUp, is it not?

If so, then you're screwed out of getting the model into Blender or Milkshape without the pro version....

Nope it's wings 3D, I just export it to 3Ds and import into milkshape. I have also scaled it to the right size and rotated the right way round. I just need help adding the correct joints.

Woah, that looks a LOT like Sketch lul. (the solid outlines of the geometry is the same style sketchUp uses.)

I would suggest using Blender rather than Milkshape... there's a super-epic tutorial for Blender at the top of this board and Blender is much more powerful and straight forward than Milkshape.

But if you've already purchased it, Im assuming you're not gonna want to do that, huh?

I prefer Milkshape because it's a easyer program for me to use, Plus i baught it c:

Are you the alex dude I know from ingame(Im Roarz)?

Front left tire = hub0
Front right tire = hub1
Rear left tire = hub2
Rear right tire = hub3
Driver = mount0
Passenger 1 = mount1
Passenger 2 = mount2
ect.

I think the max number of passenger's you can have is 10

Driver = mount0
Would i need to create a blank joint what connects the others together or the Driver joint first?

Each one of the joints must be seperate, and called what I said, they shouldnt be connected.

Mount0 is not supposed to be assigned to the model.
