a lot of old music is about love too lol
they're just even more subtle about it than musicians nowadays.

and a lot of the time, older songs are also about drugs
alot of aerosmith songs are about love, or have something to do with it.

Bad Music =/= Lyrics about love and drugs.

Good music = Music with thought/time/effort/fun put into it.

That's my opinion anyways.

What the music is about doesn't affect whether or not it's a good song. Just because it's about love/drugs doesn't mean they didn't put effort or thought into it.

thats an assbackwards way to think

Pretty much every song these days is about love, or failing relationships, at least here in the Americas.
Yes :(.

Also it's all about appearance now.

This is why I want to bring back music that doesn't suck ass.

Who wants to? Let's form a band :3.

Just to ruin it for you guys; everything in human culture and history is about love or power. You can get through life much easier if you just accept it. Almost every piece of art, music, etc. has some loveual undertones. They also have many power struggle undertones, but not nearly as many as love.

Power and love are major part of our culture, but not all use it the same way. Some use it a sense of greed, some in a sense of respect, some in a sense of lust. While they are present, I know that, their usage varies.
