No I dislike her music, but that doesn't make it bad you cunt.

I thought I said it wasn't bad.

Just adverse to the popular music style/opinion in this topic.

It was just a cheap joke to the fact your post was angry.

not really sigmund freud, lol

human's aren't primitive, totally-animalistic creatures and we do have other thoughts other than loving and hitting things. most of the time art has symbolic pieces that represent other things. in a lot of cases, nudity, love and war will symbolize something totally different, and vice versa.

you can't say all art is about love.

I understand that, but many different themes can be put under the topics love and power. It doesn't have to be exactly either to relate to it in some way.

Lordy and I were talking about in all fields of art and in all walks of life. Many songs, art pieces, writings, etc. have bases around those two common themes.

What I was trying to say is that, yes, Lordy has a point. Much of the human culture involves the ideals of love and power. But how they are used and expressed varies from our small cultures of race, religion, nationality, etc. For example, the theme of power can be represent as a struggle between Man and nature, or Man and Man, or Man and God. The theme of love could vary from the ideal of continuity to the gesture itself. Like Illidan said, many times we may represent one thing by using another. :o

Exactly.

Yaaay teamwork!

The lyrics nowadays doesn't even make sense in some songs neither does the melody in some songs deserve to be called melodies but random stuffty noises pasted together.

Just to ruin it for you guys; everything in human culture and history is about love or power. You can get through life much easier if you just accept it. Almost every piece of art, music, etc. has some loveual undertones. They also have many power struggle undertones, but not nearly as many as love.
We're born, we eat and drink to live, have love to make babbys form, then die.
The end.
Also war.

The human existence! All in three sentences!

But seriously, yes.

thats an assbackwards way to think

What. Original music was about fun and rhythm. In the more recent millenia classical composition was all different and unique. The past couple of decades music has become a lot more of a career than a hobby and some 'artists' literally think of songs, write and then record them in less than a week to keep up with profits and the charts.

What band/artist has new songs every week?

What band/artist has new songs every week?

I said some record songs in less than a week not release every week.

Then how would they make money if it wasn't released?

Erm, they do release it? You're not making much sense. :)

Omg I made a joke!

If they didn't release it until later, they would only get money when it was released. The way you phrased it, it sounded like they get cash when they finish the song, and not when they release it. Most music artists rely on performances and music sales until their new record come out. Which pretty much means that if they don't spend over a week on a song they're an idiot.

Lets compare rap songs:

Beastie Boys - No Sleep Till Brooklyn

vs.

Lil Wayne - Drop the World

Who wins? (Hint: Its not the monday)

Umm, the monday? J/k
