Author Topic: music industry today in a nutshell  (Read 5409 times)

The modern music industry is total stuff, with a few exceptions. Metal is one of the only genres that are still true to form. Most Metal artists actually care about what they put out, and a lot of metal songs carry some pretty deep and/or powerful messages, or just flat out sound great. Rock music is also not all about profits, a lot of rock musicians spend some time tweaking their songs to make them sound the way they want.
Pop is just loving batstuff. Bunch of stuff record labels stealing most of an artists profits, then dropping them the moment something about said artist changes/said artist decides to change genres.

Also Lord, you must be confused.

But really, show me a modern African American rapper that I will actually like.
