She DID correct it, and Niven basically said he was leaving but not forever, just not on more than usual, and he unbanned Niven, but when she CORRECTS HER mistake, nothing happens.
I do agree however she should have removed the sentence altogether since you can see under underlines.

Judging by Badspot's general stance on piracy, it is probably a perma ban. That's just my guess though.
