Author Topic: Hi, I'm new. Anything I should know?  (Read 8372 times)

I haven't bought Blockland yet, but I plan to soon. Anything I should know about the forums or games? Is there a friends list on Blockland?

There can be a friends list if you get RTB and IRC Client with a Notifier to tell you when their on. You can chat with them on IRC when ever you want. to add them to your notifier click "add" then type their name and hit the other "Add" button. for forums just don't spam anything especially like this:  :cookie:  :cookie:  :cookie:  :cookie:

I'm not trying to bandwagon here but

Umm what are RTB and IRC??

RTB stands for ReturnToBlockland. It is a download you can get for the game at returntoblockland.com. IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. I believe you start with this when you get RTB.

I was waiting for that

RTB is a very good mod for Blockland which lets you customize stuff and download add-ons in-game.
IRC is part of RTB, it's a chat client.

Also, snacks are on the right, toilets are right past Drama.

Return to Blockland a highly popular add on/Server/chat management system made by Ephialtes, and IRC is the built in chat system in RTB. My recommendation: Get it.

Stay out of the off-topic section (Except maybe for games) until you get used to the forums.
Feel free to post your suggestions, but if you have a lot of them at the same time, either make one post with all of them in it, or edit an existing post. You can make new topics once your old ones have either been made or you've given up on them. Also, don't double post (Post multiple times in a row) unless you are bumping (Putting your topic on the front page of that section). Also, don't bump your topic unless it goes off the front page.

These forums are pretty harsh and have a steep learning curve, so it's better to lurk for the first few weeks than to post.

EDIT: Read the rules. Don't get banned for being stupid.
