My space ship

this build is a bit old but i have resontly restarted my server and made this space ship, cargo ship, crane all avalable to see in my server.

this ship is sorta blocky but it is my first and best
this ship has one of my best power systems instaled in to it.

the power system needs to be running for any extra fetures of the ship to work.
the only things that work when it's off it the elevator and doors.

this ship is 5 decks tall with a large cargo/hanger bay on the bottom.
2nd floor is sleeping areas
3rd is just the gally and more room to expand.
4th is the armery. for the weapons storage and target practice.
5th is command deck.

The colors.  The cubeness.  I'm not sure which I like less.

Erm… I may not be the best at making ships, but it needs to be a little less… Square.

It's better than most of the cuby builds I have seen, but still it isn't good.
Please remember:
-SpaceShips are NOT cuby
-It doesn't matter how much bricks you use for it, don't use big bricks (like 1x12x5)
-Use mainly ramps for (outside-)walls too, walls made out of ramps look better
-SpaceShips look like floating boats, they have the same shape!
-Don't use the same color for the whole outside. Better use multiple Greys, a light grey as a main color.
-Make the underside of the ship round (not completely of course!), with a dark/slightly dark color.

It's very nice for the interior, but I agree that if you gave it a more streamlined or less cubic exterior it would be much better on the outside too.

ya i have to aggree. i think the best part about the exterior is the huge windows. that it.

i think a good spaceship build, could be done entirely as an inside thing.
can do all sorts of crazy, big, cool stuff if you dont have to worry about how the outside is looking (because you will never view it)

aesthetics dont have to be all around sometimes
