Author Topic: Need a scripter.  (Read 1204 times)

Hey I've been modeling and have made the .dts files with the exporter in blender.
I was wondering if any of you forumers would be so kind as to script it and send it to me for testing.

You'll also need to tell me your steam for communicating.
Any takers?

Any scripter that can do more than change numbers (ie any scripter that can script) will want to know what it is before they even consider taking up on it.

I was thinking that too, so this is just a test model (I don't want to model my best/color it before I find out it really works)
(With armatures* and empties)
That was my first ever model in blender (I'm not new at it, I've had it for several months, but that's my first/test model)

You could just use the default gun script or edit an existing script, it's not that hard.

I would rather have a partner who is experienced in scripting that I can WORK with, like I had before, but he quit Blockland.

Oh, I used Blender.

You made the gun lying down. This will consult the blockhead holding it sideways.

Most gun models should be fully interchangable, so if this doesn't work with a default script, then you might be missing something. Specifically, although I don't really have any experience modelling, I can't see the muzzle point. If it doesn't have one, it needs it, as 95% of all gun scripts use the muzzle defined by the model, otherwise it won't look right when the gun is held at a different angle.
