I was looking forward to this until it took the path of DNF and Sven Coop 2.
Christ, it's a rehash of half-life. You already have most of the level layout, themes, and items already made, but outdated. It shouldn't take 7 years of development for a goddamn remake. Maybe it'd be excusable if it was a completely new total conversion mod, but not when it's a rehash of a 11 year old game.

They're just a group of modders, not a real development team.  They have jobs.  Most mods do this type of thing, but BM is not beating around the bush with beta 1.1 or beta 7.  They're just releasing the whole thing at one time.
