Author Topic: 1700+ feet to climb to get to work  (Read 4819 times)

That made me feel sick.

I loved how near the end the announcer said "This is the tricky part - getting on top".  :cookieMonster:

That seems like a fairly relaxing job, though. :o

before I watched the video I thought it would be a guy in a suit with a briefcase climbing the side of a cliff

to the several people that i know are asking how he got down, he connected a repelling line at the top, and just repelled down

For a sec, I either thought it was a joke video and there would be some really big breakroom at the top, or he would fall, and right before he was about to die, pulled a 'chute.

Can't imagine how terrifying that would be for the first time.

Always wear parachute. Everywhere. Always.

Yea, going up there would utterly scare the snot out of me unless I had a parachute.

If I had a parachute I'd take some C4 up there with me, plant it and jump off Rico Rodriguez style.

In which case the parachute would probably get caught on the tower during your decent and you would be hanging there until the C4 exploded, then plummet to a cold, lonely, self-inflicted death. :c

On the bright side, though, the view on the top of that tower is breathtaking. :o

Do an ultra badass quick-slide down the ladder.

That's a contradiction right there...
No, it's faster than climbing down.
