Author Topic: My bike chain broke while coasting down a hill at 38 miles per hour!  (Read 6378 times)

When a bike is coasting its chain does not even move. What the hell?

Also, I highly doubt you were going 38 MPH.

How did the chain break while coasting?

my chain camed off
thanks op i came on chain it hiss at snake.

Not only the fact that the chain doesn't move, But if it did break it would either

A.) Lock up the wheel and send you flying

or

B.) Suddenly release all resistance from the petals, making one of your feet unexpectedly drop down quickly. This would most likely throw you off balance and make you crash

Both of which would either kill or severely injure you going at "38 MPH".

How did you know you were going exactly 38 miles an hour? :/

Why were you coasting down a hill at 38mph?

This I wonder.  :cookieMonster:

Raper chasing him?

That was going to be my 3rd point lol.

I've done 45kmph (or mph, i forget, big difference though) down a hill on my bike.
I had a speedometer.
