Author Topic: Jumping Fences  (Read 2423 times)

I've never jumped a fence before and it's harder than it looks. My friends, some other high school students, and I went over to an Elementary School that lets you play on their field after school hours. So we went to play football and the gate was locked but there was people playing basketball so we decided to jump the gate. Almost fell backwards when I was climbing the gate, it scared the stuff out of me.

Anyways discuss the evilness of fences.

It looks pretty damn hard.

...Harder than that?

my backyard has a 9 foot picket fence, which I jumped a ton.

but now it's got a fence fence to contain the cats, so I can't do it now :[

I used to jump a fence in my old neighborhood in Michigan all the time. The neighborhood was a circular affair, and I had two friends that lived opposite eachother on the inside of the circle so to get between eachother's houses we would hop the fence that separated the two houses in the woods.

I miss being in shape. All the stuff from the NOT COMMUNITY COLLEGE I am attending leaves me with very little time for physical activity.

Its not worth it, the time you spend doing "physical activity" you'd be better of spending doing other more productive things.

Crap, I thought this would be about Mirrors Edge. Ironically, I have never jumped a fence, though I do practice Running in real life.

fences?
I have to jump concrete walls.

Explain fences, I thinking my backyard fence which would be stuff easy, needs more explanation.

It was a chainlink fence. I can't really guess how tall it was but it was pretty dam tall. The holes in the chains were also too small to use as footsteps so we had to pull ourselves up.

Oh those, they're easier then most fences because you get more traction when you run up over it.

Fences are there for a reason.

Yeah I know but the school allows you to come onto their grounds. I guess they just forgot to unlock the gate. One of the custodians or something came outside and saw all the kids and didn't give a stuff.

They actually put spike fences at my older school, because kids used to play on there after school, which wasn't allowed for some reason. Still, kids climb over it with bloody hands, arms etc. *sigh*. All I have to say is...
Buy some gloves :D

How about they don't climb the fences?

It's not like they were put there to stop people from entering places.
