Any ideas as to why my internet has gone bad?

Well this started happening Friday, in the morning I went on the computer just fine, went to school and then when I came home for some odd reason my internet connection was going very slow. I tried many things and nothing has worked, and to top it off, my brother was playing fine with no lag while this was happening, which means it's computer based. Does anyone have any idea of what I could try? Nothing has changed when this started.

I have said before, this is not a problem with the router, my brothers are on it right now playing games, if I try my ping is around 1000+(Without exaggeration).

It's the first thing I do when my internet messes up so yes I have, it doesn't work, and your point is still flawed either way.

Are you using wireless?

It seems to be running out of fuel. Have you refueled your internet lately? If not, do so.

If you have no fuel left, go buy some orange juice at your local walmart.

Or maybe there is a wild boar in your internet that keeps stepping on important wiring. Try using a boar lure (Pig hormone soaked rag tied to a stick) to get it out.

It worked well for me.

Maybe your network card. Or your network driver. I recommend a fresh reinstall of the network driver from the device manager and a restart of the computer.
