open ports can be hacked you idiot

but it's a bit rare so just open them

What person would ever want to hack your ports? Cause you banned them from a minecraft server?

Port 80 is already open to allow you to browse the internet.

Tell him he is stupid.

The internet can send you hax so we will only use this thousand dollar computer for minesweeper and MSpaint >:C

I don't know how to say this without being rude, so I'm just going to be rude.  Your dad shovels coal for a living and I am a goddamn professional computer programmer.  I know more about this subject than your dad.  Port forwarding, if done correctly, is completely safe.

I am now going to open those for whichever purpose, and will never need to forward again.

Should I?

The only answer you can get from me is "Do it for teh lolz."
Someone else think of a reason to do it.

Actually, the highest port is 65535 or something.

If you do, I grant you 10 minutes before your computer shuts down.

I have had every port possible open for as long as I remember.
Guess what?

I'm still here, no problems.
