Author Topic: Server stopped working.  (Read 1578 times)

So I had many people come to my server before, but I noticed as I had my server open for people who wanted to act in my movie, not many people were coming. I thought that was unusual, since people normally rush to a filming server. So I asked devo if he wanted to come, and he said yes. He told me: "You have no ping pong" (meaning: "your ping is ---").
I told him to try and join anyway, but he couldn't,
so I asked someone else to try and join, but he, also, couldn't join.
So it wasn't that people didn't want to come, it was that they COULDN'T.
Do you know how to fix this?

And I will add this:
v16, I KNOW that's not what broke it.
I had people come on my server BEFORE on v16.

i get some weird Runtime C++ error when i get like 15 players :/ odd

Attaching a console.log might help...

Look in options, Click Network tab at the top, and make sure "Disable UPnP" is un-checked.

That's unchecked.
But, it's doing the punchpacket loop, and then saying timed out.

Hmm, Make sure firewalls+antiviru are off/allowing blockland through?

That too :(
Oh, and recently when I started a blockland server, it ran like crap.
When I wanted to walk forward, it would freeze on an image of my blockhead having one foot up, and then freeze to him having the other foot up.

I doubt that'd show the problem but, whatever, Post your log.

The main reason is that no-one can connect, not that his computer runs like crap when he probably has loads of stuff in the background.

Should I post the file, or just copy and paste the text?

File man, make sure you duplicate the error first.
