I actually find Norton pretty good. Unlike McAfee, I can play TF2 while it's doing a system scan, lag-free. Also, McAfee's system scans take waaaaaay too long for my liking. Norton is much faster.

I had an old version of Norton on my older, desktop computer. Yeah, it hogged resources, but the scans were still fast. I got a really new version for my new laptop, and it doesn't hog resources AND it still scans fast. I think all the haters out there are taking facts from versions from years ago and using them to look cool like the rest of the people hating Norton.

Norton is really good, you just need to try a newer version.

Its only true about Norton that it prevents you from getting a virus in the first place. But once its in your computer your forgeted. I got 1 FakeAV-Trojan and one Conficker Worm on my parents Windows Vista.

Norton trys to make you believe that having its product will make it impossible from getting a virus.
I did the smart thing and uninstall it and install Kaspersky.
