for the past view days it was randomly disconnecting anyone who I was talking to at random and then reconnecting them hope this gets fixed also was pretty annoying in conversations

ive been trying to connect for 20 minutes now
It appears social networking site Facebook is currently out of action. Reports are coming in rapidly that the site is either completely not loading and/or the service is loading very slowly. I am unable to access Facebook currently from multiple Internet connections. Twitter users are also noting issues connecting to Facebook.From what I can tell, most of the tweets regarding issues connecting to Twitter are in languages other than English. Also important to note that Facebook social like buttons are also not loading.My favorite note about the outage comes from Twitter user Fake Dispatch who notes, “BREAKING WORK TIP: Do not be the first one in your office to announce that Facebook is down.”We have emailed Facebook for more information and will update this post when we hear back.Update 2:45pm Eastern: My6Sense VP Louis Gray is currently reporting in that Facebook works for him in Silicon Valley.Update 2: a large percentage of the U.S. based comments are coming from Texas – I wonder if this has anything to do with the SSL outage on Time Warner on Monday?Update 3: several CN readers seem to suggest it could be some sort of DNS attack. In reviewing the comments, it seems like everyone without access to Facebook is east of California or outside the U.S. The NY Post wonders if this is somehow related to the upcoming Social Network movie.Update 4: As of 3:35pm Eastern, Facebook is back up for me on multiple connections.
