I really dont even see why people would vote for Kalphiter to stick around. He contributes next to nothing, and what he does add is trash.
You guys seriously need to sit down and do a contrast of the two.
Alright, have fun without a few add-ons.
Iban doesnt realease much, but he aims to have it work. Notice all of his mods have thousands of downloads, tens of comments (150 for ZAPT), and everyone one of them has 4 or more points.
Then theres Kalphiters stuff. All together, they have been downloadeded only about twice (rounding upwards) as much as ZAPT has by itself.
Add-ons on RTB get more downloads.
Has what he made relly set him as a good community member? Most of these scripts are just one thing modified or taken out. Edited slopes, a brick pack with bigger roads, a script to get position as a client (wat??), a really buggy stuff looking train vehicle, floating sideways glass windows that are called elevators... really?
I like how you omitted some of the add-ons that were important, and listed some of the add-ons that weren't too good. I can tell you haven't even tried them considering you don't understand what SlopeEdits is. Not just that, you accuse me of a bad model that I didn't even make.
So, what about post content. If Kalphiter is worth defending, his posts have to be of high quality.. right?
Iban is still active in RTB, posting usualy in mod discussion getting input from people. And believe it or not, there are a limited number of drama posts involving him, but hes still not a hippie. See last post.
Notice how most of the dramas are started by idiots, like this topic. A few of them had rational points that should be improved.
He wrrites guides for torque that I can almost understand. Kalph bitches in coding help - why even go there?
So? Seems like you found the guide and don't need to keep searching for it. I also don't see where I "bitch" in coding help - if I post there I normally post helpful material.

I mean frankly Kalphiter isn't as bad as he's made out to be. Neither is Iban.
Here's a couple lists:
- Intelligent people have issues with Kalphiter for his occasional script kiddie antics (Truce is the same, just much better at it)
- Dumb people have issues with Kalphiter for his penchant for insulting them (ie telling them the truth)
- Some people love Kalphiter for releasing his Elevators.
1. I still haven't seen anyone mad about this vague script kiddie'ing.

- Intelligent people have issues with Iban because he remade CityRP and that's obviously a bad thing even though most of them probably didn't try it (I dislike the way CityRP works but CityRPG is considerably less buggy in the features they share, and much more feature-complete for the original purpose - people who dislike it generally only go to CityRP servers to 'grief' (ie idle, buy guns, killing spree, jail, repeat) and then complain about this)
- Dumb people have issues with Iban for his penchant etc. etc.
- Some people love Iban for remaking CityRP into CityRPG/making ZAPT.
I don't think it's Iban's fault that it attracts idiot hosts and people, but there's a problem
somewhere.
