Author Topic: "Lock this clan and GTFO" stuff's old.  (Read 1319 times)

Seriously, saying stuff like "lock the clan and gtfo"; "wow you suck richard/ass." is getting on my loving nerves, people.

Instead of making them feel like crap, you should at least encourage them to produce a better layout and make an example so they can seek ideas from it. I mean, come on. Kid's 10+ want to make a clan, and they have the right to make one. They don't want to feel hated because they get stuffposted on their clan page with posts saying: "omg, u suck at making clans gtfo noob". Go ahead and let my thread backfire, it may teach you internet trolls a lesson.

Seriously, guys, it's getting really old. And it should be put to an end. All they want to do is have a simple clan so they can make more BL friends, and perhaps gain more reputation.

Here are some examples:

http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=129022.0 [ The maker of this clan was acting like a total idiot, but there are still some posts in there ]

http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=126954.0 [ I have to admit, this guy just threw in some words for a layout... ]

http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=129040.0 [ Unwritten, I hate to say this... but really, you're being a real jerk to people ]

There are probably some more back there in the topic.

I usually tell them what they're doing wrong, unless it's just horribly stupid.

That's fine, but other topics like the last one, ( I say that clan had a good layout ) just had completely stupid posts.

Not everybody can make a clan. There are plenty of examples.

True, but the audience should at least encourage them to produce a better clan/layout.

First example, are you talkin' bout me?

:3?

No, Evar368

I meant when you said people should help rather than do that.

Yours is fine, but more advice would've helped. :)

I'm a "jerk" for the better of the forums.
sometimes.

I think you could have chosen better examples.

Just any general 'lock this thread it's handicapped' is a load of horserooster, clan discussion or not.
