can't we just make a religion around them?

good idea. what should we call it?

1.  Its Aramaic, and no I did not take the time out of my studies to learn Aramaic, a dead language of 1000 years with no roots in Latin.

2.  I've already mentioned that the crusades were led by corrupt leaders.Lol'd

So you've read a translation of the Koran?

I have an English/Arabic Qu'ran.

This is just plainly untrue.  The big bang required specific atoms to collide and for the reaction to occur in a specific way.  It is so unlikely it is ridiculous, yet there is still the slight chance that it happened.  The same goes for Gods, there is no legitimate facts for him to be fake.
So you argue my argument with fact supporting the Big Bang (in the ability to describe how it could have happened) and then say the same goes for Gods but don't give any explanation whatsoever.

You are talking about the Qur'an?  No I haven't read it.  My mistake, I thought you were talking about the bible.  Still, my teachers have given me translated excerpts and I have watched specials on Islam on Discovery.  Honestly, do not try to defend that religion.

You didn't give me an explanation for the Big Bang, but still there is no evidence against the possibility of there being God.

You may not agree with this, but whatever.  There have been a huge number of martyrs for the Christian religion, people who gave their lives because Christianity is real, and they believe in it.  Because they have talked with God, and became his Prophets.  That is why there is a God.

Would you atheists give your life to make a point that there is no God?  Thought not.

then again, I suppose that it could have been a high level sorceror as well.

Christians can be so intolerant.

I'll add to that and say that the evidence they have supporting the Big Bang and the expansion of the Universe has to do with the Doppler effect. Obviously the Big Bang is just a THEORY, but it has supporting fact behind it to be an acceptable explanation of the beginning of the Universe. However, you claim God to exist as FACT and provide no supporting fact behind that. That's the difference in beliefs here.

Christians can be so intolerant.
Yeah, forget those cigarettes, lets kill them all for their beliefs!

vice versa

intolerant can be so christians? only in russia I am afraid.

My argument was never proving the Big Bang but merely the logic in which you attacked it with.

As to the latter portion of your post, I can understand that God lives in the hearts of people and is made real in the hearts of people. This does not make him an omni-potent being that created the Universe, however.

EDIT: To add to that, giving up your life to make a point about God proves nothing. If someone killed themselves because they believed the Easter Bunny to be real, would that make it so?

1. It is a fine religion, and the Qur'an only contains one section on the whole martyrs/defending the religion thing.
2. People who gave their lives in war, killing other people for not believing their religion.
3. I believe that god is very possible, I just think that the current western interpretations are complete bullstuff.
