Author Topic: How did you come up with your name? and its history?  (Read 16947 times)

"Ningyou" means doll in Japanese. Don't really have a history behind it.

Thank you for Agreeing, Hes somewhat new, And yes it says im somewhat new but this is my Alt account for KillerD72. Not a good way to start off is it?

few years ago early in club penguin I named myself skyblue6245. It went on from there.

Ok, It all began when I was in primary school, when I played Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection. There were dinosaurs, and I was fascinated by the Herrerasaure.
It quickly became my favorite dinosaur, but because I read the name quickly, I thought it was Herrerarausaure.

Later, when I signed up on forums, games, etc. I picked Herrerarausaure because I was sure no one would have such a name...

Now, just type herrerarausaure on google, all the sites that'll come up are sites I signed up to.

A friend and I were spamming accounts on Runescape because we were bored and this is the random last-minute name I came up with. It sounded neato so I stuck with it.

Actually the name I came up with was "Auraeon" but I did a bit of spelling alterations when I brought it here.

Well, for my in-game name, (name edited ._.), I drew this epic looking power-suit thing and wanted a cool name for it. The colors were electric blues, so there came the "Circuit", and because it has highly destructive powers when corrupted by Kkryonitte(something I came up with), came the "Breaker".
Ok, name's changed. Following the dark powers of Kkryonitte, I'm now Dark Circuit Breaker. I mainly changed it because I liked the KES version of the Circuit Breaker better ._.
It's all red and evil and sinister and ect...

My name has no history, I don't even like the colour Red, I think it is boring and over used. I much prefer green, but for some reason I like my name being a stuffty colour.

mine, well this name "underdog11" came from roblox (i know i know, sue me :P)
I had messed up several other accounts there that had my usual user names (except the one I use now) and so I was watching the movie underdog then.  One of my other user names had an 11 in it.  Well, I kind of am an underdog, so this was the result.

My ingame name varies between two, Freariose, and Wolfstar.  Freariose is the most common for me, I got it from apple seed Ex-Machina, when I thought Breareose's name was actually Freariose.  Well since Freariose is so unique I'm the only one that uses it :P.  Wolfstar came from when I read the Warriors series a lot (FTW!) and made up the cat Wolfstar.  He was the leader of Thunderclan a while before Bluestar.  And was kind of "reborn" a ways after Firestar.

What's wrong with using a name from Roblox?

Anyway...
"Corbiere" is a lighthouse on Jersey, in the channel islands. My parents decided to name our house after it, no idea why.

If anyone has ever looked up my ID (6743) on RTB Lookup*, they would have noticed that the name "Corbiere" entered my user data as "Corbiere Crew", since Blockland was more of a game for my dad, brother and I to play on LAN at the time. Non-demo LAN allowed more than 150 bricks, so it was a good idea, and was my birthday present for my...er...13th or 14th birthday.
The origin of the name was also pretty wierd. I was on holiday in Austria, with the annoying tour guided groups you get in August 2008, and we had a kind of pub quiz. Our team name was "Corbiere Crew". So, on return to England, after buying the Blockland, it became the name.

Slowly but surely, both others lost interest, yet I remained hooked to Blockland. After about a month or two of owning the game, I decided to remove the "Crew" bit and change to "Corbiere", mostly because the name sounds awful, but also because now that I was the only one using Blockland, I could de-pluralise the name.

"Corbiere" had arrived...

*There's also a load of other crap - Palencia (A failed name change), Mr .Lol (A trick on Nightelf21...which worked...), and a few other name which can be ignored.

Now, just type herrerarausaure on google, all the sites that'll come up are sites I signed up to.

That's pretty cool...all I get is lighthouse...

I drew a cartoon character named Dag when I was a small child. It didn't have enough action and adventure, so eventually, I added Power for obvious reasons.
Recently, I've been thinking about changing it, but I just can't find a name that's perfect for me.

Try using your real name, or something like it. Mine means "watchful" in Hebrew which fits because I love to observe people's emotions and expressions.
