The US would have had no point in being inhabited if it wasn't for religion. I am athiest, but I do believe good things come from religion. So yes, the twin towers most likely would have never been there.

religion was created as a tool to control people.
governments everywhere, in all time periods used religion as a power to do anything they want.
only now in the modern age where we have governments seperating themselves from religion do we finally have human rights. and freedoms.

The point is that the world's history would have changed for the better. Most early wars between humans were about land, resources, and religion.
