Which do you prefer?

Keyboard
Controller

Author Topic: Controller or Keyboard?  (Read 1071 times)

Which do you prefer when gaming? My friend and I have been arguing about this for years now, and we haven't reached a verdict. I prefer a keyboard, but he prefers a controller. I can't stand using controllers on shooter games either. The only good thing about the controller is that the joysticks are sensitive so you can walk at different speeds and such.

Opinions are illegal.
Shoot him.

Controllers are for simple games such as racing and RPG games.
For everything else, there's MasterCard keyboard and mouse.

Keyboard and mouse always wins at first person shooter games, especially if you have a super high dpi gaming mouse.

I need a better keyboard and mousepad, this one is uncomfortable :c

Shoot him.
Only if you use a keyboard and mouse to do so.

Controller FPS games play themselves. You can be thirty feet off center of a guy and still hit him because the developers have to put in auto target to compensate for the fact that controller sucks.

I can use either perfectly fine.

hook a controller to your PC, and tell me you can play FPS games with the same accuracy between the two.

I really only have 1 action game installed, and it NEEDS a joystick or else the only person you'll kill is yourself. Besides that, keyboard + mouse is my preference.

Damn you Java updater!

Your friend is an idiot. Controllers are stuffty for FPS games. Why would you want to go slower anyway?

Well no stuff I can only use them well on console games.

That's because

Bump. I need more opinions.
