I was kind of hoping for some base prices...I mean, I know the prices vary extremely, but is there some sort of price range? Like, what would a low-tier Unusual (decent hat with Confetti I guess) go for? And some of the better ones (not exactly a Flaming Team Captain, but somewhat nice)?
Most fetti/flies are now around 2 buds or so, since Valve updated them to cover the whole body. The higher ones you might see such as lets say a sunbeams merryweather, they might go for around 9-10 buds or so I believe. Then there are the god-tiers, like a burning cheiftains challenge. For one of those a Hat of Undeniable Wealth and Respect (HOUWAR) + some sweets like a max or so would be fair.
This is all wrong info.flies are 3 earbuds which also depends on the hat, sunbeams merryweather would go for 20 buds, and nobody wants a burning chieftains challange, sure it would looks nice, but why pay that much when you can get a green effect honchos for the same price?also 1 burning chieftains would not go for a HOUWAR lolHOUWAR is 4 maxes heads plus sweets.EDIT: Buds are 10-12 keys, but are going up in prices and are seen at 11 keys 1 ref
I'm using the prices usually used on tf2tp. You would think that somebody would buy it for 20 buds, but nobody really would. Sure, maybe somebody pops up rarely.
Again, I'm selling a Foster's Facade for any eight items including the Original.
forget everyone who thinks they know the prices of unusual hats. There is no right answer to the question. Unusual hats cost as much as you or the person selling them want them too.The price of an unusual hat depends on:1. The class for which the can be used.2. The hat itself.3. The effect.4. The seller.5. The buyer.6. The location. All of these main points come together to give you the price of an unusual hat.And even then, nothing is certain.
