tf2wh will lose you money, unless you buy painted things or unless they mess up the prices on an item. You guys think it's a good deal, but all it has going for it is the ease of use.

It's great if you really want an item and are willing to slightly overpay for it, but not as amazing as some of you think.

I realized this some time ago :O

Buy two 200 credit items, make scrap, sell for 500, 100 credit profit yay.

Except scrap sells for 400 credits to the bot, and 500 on the site

SPOILER: THE BOT BUYS YOUR STUFF FOR LESS THAN IT GETS SOLD FOR ON TF2WH

Therefore the bots get credits or something. Also, think if they shut down the site and took everything.

It's 500 to buy scrap and 400 to sell

You can only use the bot to sell/buy

The way the site is set up is that it continually gets more and more items, which makes the site more and more helpful. This way, they get lots of donations, and everyone can still buy stuff for only moderately overpriced

I bought a Vintage Ullapool Caber for the equivalent for 2.5 ref in credits, but it is worth 3 ref

But you probably lost the remaining value when you gave the bot items to get the credits

Sold an Armored Authority, got enough credits for a Pyromancer + paint

Seems fair to me
