It's perfectly fair. You have mobility, I have health. I've taken down soldiers as a scout in melee by getting close, hitting them, then getting back before they can counterattack. Doesn't always work, but still.

And you have much more mobility, more potential range, and are a smaller target. Health and Weapon power are not the only two factors involved or people would only play heavy
