GUI
Step 1: Getting into the server.
When you want to enter the server, you will have to have the client add-on first.
If you don't allready have it you will get this message when you try to join:

Download it, put it into the add-ons folder of Blockland and restart Blockland.

Step 2: Binding keys.
The client add-on enables you to use the GUI that comes with DRPG. (Sort of)
But to use those GUI's, you will have to bind a key to them.
You can do this in the tab Controls of Options which you can acces by going to the main menu or going to the escape menu (Esc key).
(Don't press Esc while loading the server as that will cancel the load!)
You will find this:

Notice the blue line around that text, that is what you need (the rest is all my crap :S).
Now, you can see that i allready bound a key to them.
I advise you too to use the i and u buttons, unless you allready used those for other keybinds.
(To keybind, double click and then when a message comes up with "REMAP "the thing you want to remap"" press the key you want to bind it to, when you are done, press done)
And there you have it!
You can acces the GUI's ingame with the keys you just gave them.

Step 3: Getting used with the GUI.
Now when you are in a DRPG server, press the key you bound to Toggle GUI.
You should get something like this on the left of your screen (unless there was a client update which changed the way it looks):

As you can see there are 5 options.
I will explain them one by one.
(Also notice the first letter is fatter and an other color, press it while in the main GUI to open/close that specific part!)
   -Stats

You can see your total level and your other seperate levels here.
You can also see how much progress you made on a certain skill.
   -Equipment

You can see what you are wearing as well as de-equip stuff.
The first 2 rows are what you are wearing (and cannot directly use).
You can de-equip stuff by clicking on it.
When you do that you will also get a bottomprint of what you just de-equipped.
The last row is what you can acces, known as your 'real' inventory (not the one in this GUI).
These are the items you can directly use, such as swords, bows, axes, pickaxes and more!
   -Inventory

This is the inventory, here are all the items and resources you have found and/or gathered.
You can click an item to get info about it, your Inventory GUI will change to this:

From here you can see the name of an item, the description and the market value of this item.
I will now give a short description of each of the buttons you see:
      - Use
      You will use this item.
This will equip your item or put it in your inventory.
      You cannot use resources.
      - Close
Closes the item description part of the Inventory GUI.
(Will revert to the previous Inventory GUI)
      - Split
With this you can split a pile of items into multiple piles of that item.
      For example:
You got 4 Copper ore, with the Split button you can make it into 2 piles of 2 copper ore.
      - Drop
If you click this button you will drop the specific item.
If you got multiple items, you will be given the choice of how many.
(Default value is amount of items on that pile)
You can drop every item (and everyone will be able to pick it up).
   -Crafting

When you level up certain skills, you will be able to craft more!
You got 3 skills that are related to crafting:
   Smithing, Fletching and Cooking.
In this GUI you will only see the crafting recipes of things you can craft.
Ask other players for higher level crafting recipes (so you can prepare yourself if you want).
You can only craft things that are listed here.
As you can see, on the left side there is a list of items you can craft.
On the right side there is the name of the crafting recipe, the level you need to craft it and the resources/items you need to craft it.
Press the button "Craft" to craft it.
When you can craft mutiple items of that recipe, you will be given the choice of how many you can craft.
The default value here is determined on the amount of recourses you have that are needed for this recipe.
Note however that this value may be incorrect.
   -Close(Esc)
Press escape to exit the whole GUI.

Stats
Total Level
Your total level, when you level up your skills, you will also sometimes level up your total level.
Not random, but calculated somewhere.
Sadly, a progress bar for that has been removed.
Your total level is also displayed in front of your name. (Clan tag)
   Special feats:
   -Level 10
When you have reached level 10, enemy mobs may appear near your position at random times.
So be aware!
   Melee[/b]
Your melee level determines how hard you hit with melee weapons.
   Archery
Your archery level determines how hard you hit with ranged weapons.
   Defense
Except for falldamage, all damage get reduced more when you progress your defense level.
   Smithing
One of the 3 skills that are related to crafting.
You can craft ores into bars, armour and swords with this skill.
   Fletching
One of the 3 skills that are related to crafting.
You can craft ranged equipment with this skill.
(Things like, bows, arrows and more!)
   Cooking
One of the 3 skills that are related to crafting.
You can craft food with this skill.
   Woodcutting
A skill to gather one of the precious Resources, wood.
As your woodcutting level progresses, you can cut better wood.
   Mining
A skill to gather one of the precious Resources, ores.
As your mining level progresses, you can unground better ores.
   Farming
You can plant and harvest crops and other stuff with this skill.
The Resources you can gather with this skill are mostly needed with Cooking.
   Building
Building with bricks costs platic.
MORE INFORMATION NEEDED

Resources
There are multiple resources in DRPG:
Ores
   - Ore (level requirement) (color)
   -------------------------
   - Tin (1) (grey)
   - Copper (1) (orange)
   - Silver () (light grey)
   - Gold () (yellow/gold)
   MORE INFORMATION NEEDED
Wood
   - Wood (level requirement)
   -------------------------
   - Oak (1) (brown)
   - Willow () (green?)
   MORE INFORMATION NEEDED

Mobs
There are also mobs that can be encountered after reaching a Total Level of 10.
Skeletons
   PICTURE NEEDED
Description:   Fully white, carries an oak bow or a bronze shortsword.
Drops:         Oak bow or bronze shortsword (depends on what it carries).
Creepers
   PICTURE AND MORE INFORMATION NEEDED
Description:   Fully green, flashes a bit when close to his target, explodes after a couple times of flashing.
   Drops:         ???

Nations
There are 4 nations in DRPG:
- Derma
- Elrad
- Vanote
- Oloni
You can join nations by typing /join nationnamehere.
Note that some nations may require a certain amount of plastic to join.
When you are in a nation, the chat will also display your nation (behind your name, clantag2)
Alternatively, to leave one, just type /leave.

Nations have cities and special spawnpoints for it's citizens.
Of course other nations and 'nation-less' players are welcome to visit, but they can be attacked.
You cannot attack a citizen of the same nation (unless you are not in a nation).
If you are in a nation, you also have to pay less tax on your items you sell to the nation's shop.
Nationleaders can set taxes and buy perks (the latter may be removed, don't know).
So join a Nation you like and have fun with other citizens.

Shops
Nations also can have shops set up.
A bot represents the shopkeeper and when you 'activate' it (click on bot without an item equipped) you will get a trade screen.

You can only exit this window by clicking the cross in the upper right corner.

On the left you see the items they sell and the price of that item.
Click on it and press buy to buy that item.
You will get the choice to buy a certain amount.

On the right side you see the items you can sell togheter with their according amount.
Press one of your items and then sell to sell that item.
You will get the choice to sell a certain amount.

Then you might notice the tax amount next to the buy button.
Tax is set by the nation leaders and will change the amount of plastic you get for an item you sell.
The amount of plastic you get for an item is determined like this:
amount of plastic=Value-(Value*(tax/100))
Amount of plastic is always a whole number.
(Not when you buy though)

Tips & Tricks
- You don't have your own clan tags:

Your first clan tag is your total level and the second clan tag is your nation (if you have any).
- Find a city/nation.
A city/nation has a shop and is mostly located near a bunch of recources!
- Use the Compass mod!
While the server may or may not have the mod enabled, you can set waypoints for yourself for stuff like resources, cities/nations and more!
- Building costs plastic!
Be carefull as this may drain your amount of plastic dramatically.
More may be added sooner or later.

This guide is incomplete and YOU can help me finish this!
Post information i need (Found by the caps'd INFORMATION NEEDED) and/or pictures of things i need (found by the caps'd PICTURE NEEDED) and it may get added to this awesome guide.
More tips and/or constructive critCIAm regarding the lay-out or context of this guide are also welcome.

More extensive resources list for the Guide:

--COPPER ORE-- Orange. Required to make Bronze, one of the most basic materials.
--TIN ORE-- Light grey. More difficult to mine than copper, if my memory serves. Required to make Bronze.

--SILVER ORE-- White. Not very useful, as it's just a transitional phase, but you can still make stuff with it.

--DERMITE (Maybe not in sequence? I may have forgotten something before this.)-- Purplish red, a dark color. A step up from Silver(?), armor can be made from this, i don't know about bows. And yes, this is before gold. Even though it's better.

--GOLD ORE-- Useless for anything but selling. Gold is a weak metal, but very shiny, so shopkeepers like it :3

Everything past this point is possibly out of sequence.
--IRON ORE-- Required to make Steel stuff. Steel was purchasable at the old Derma (before v2) but now i don't know where the hell to get it because of unfair permaban.
--COAL-- Required to make Steel stuff.

--OBSIDIAN COAL-- Required to make Biron stuff, i think it's required for Destinite.
--DESTINITE-- DESTINY, DESTINY, NO MISTAKING THAT'S FOR ME

--???-- To the unknown.

--OAK-- The most basic tree. Required for BRONZE. Can be made into ARROWS/BOWS as well.
--WILLOW-- A step up from beginner level. Required for SILVER, i think. Can be made into ARROWS/BOWS.
--MAPLE-- Getting advanced here. Required for DERMITE. Can be made into really good ARROWS/BOWS.
--???-- I don't know what goes here. Required for STEEL. I don't know if it can be made into bows and arrows.
--MOONWELL-- Daaaaaaang, this stuff's good. Required for DESTINITE (Biron maybe? Idk.). I believe i heard that this CANNOT, repeat CANNOT, be made into arrows.

Also a basic weapon types inventory
--SWORDS-- Melee ftw. Bash your enemies up with these. Just hold the FIRE key and it's automatic. No ammunition, dummies. Made of METAL at medium level compared to the level required to smith the ore. Takes what, 20 hits for this to kill? I'd go with a blunderbuss.
--BOWS-- Long ranged weapon. As you hold FIRE key, it charges until you let go. If you let go before the RED phase of the charge bar is full, it will not fire. If it's completely charged and in the WHITE, it can be used well for ballistics (hell yeah arrow mortar). WOOD is required for ammunition for these. Made of WOOD at varying levels. Takes a few hits for these to kill.
--BLUNDERBUSS-- Blunderbusses? Blunderbussi? Idk. Works like the bow only without gravity. It's a gun. Gun in medieval times, really? Anyways. Made of METAL at relatively high levels according to the smithing level required to make the bars of metal. Uses METAL ammo, so get mining. These babies can 2hk at the lowest class (bronze).

Also, there's no Destinite/Black iron blunderbusses

Also, there's no Destinite/Black iron blunderbusses
There's a destinite blunderbuss.

Ore(s) = Mining level/Color
Copper/Tin = 1/orange and Gray
Silver = 10/light gray
Dermite = 15/dark red
Gold = 30/yellow
Iron/Coal = 40/brown and black
Destinite = 90/pink
Obsidian Coal = 100/black

Tree(s) = Woodcutting level/color
Oak = 1/Brown
Willow = 5/Green
Maple = 15/Orange
Yew = 40/Yellow
Moonwell = 75/White

There's also two levels for mobs. All I know of is that the strong skeleton has a dermite shortsword.

I really should get on and play, I just really don't feel like it :s

I AM NO LONGER WORKING ON DRPG
I am unaware on what Clockturn feels about it. He may or may not want to continue the project.

I have decided that I would like to focus more time on other programming projects outside of Blockland. There were many things I would of liked for DRPG to have but due to Blockland's version of Torque being very limited they never could be. There is a chance I will remake DRPG as it's own game. Don't worry, it will be completely different to the Blockland version of it.

Limited source code release
Not going to release all of it.. we all know where that leads. Just interesting parts.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/551734/code/blockland/drpg/mobs.cs
It can handle lots of mobs at once. Pretty proud :')

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/551734/code/blockland/drpg/dungeons.cs
Can easily be modified to work by itself.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/551734/code/blockland/misc/blockByte.cs
My database system. It's the developers version with an exception system.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/551734/code/blockland/misc/timeBomb.cs
The ticking system. It can have real-time daily, weekly, montly, yearly, etc. ticks with no lag.

My guide is nothing anymore! :C

Well, I would've liked if you released the base of it aswell (like trees, ores, armor, etc)

oh well
